Today I am happy to have Candi Thorpe back on the podcast. Candi is on staff at Calvary Burlington where she has served in vocational ministry for more than twelve years. Candi loves the local church, and has a passion to see people use their gifts and talents to serve God. Her favourite children are Jacob and Petra, and her favourite person is her best friend and husband Kevin.
In this episode we are going to chat about how serving without passion is like a "Bridge to Nowhere" and how Jesus calls us to rest in Him.

Favourite Verse about Serving
- Titus 3:4-7
- We love God and he loves us, not because of the work we do, but because of the why
"But-When God our Saviour revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life." Titus 3:4-7
