Candi Thorpe is on staff at Calvary Burlington where she has served in vocational ministry for more than twelve years.  In her role as the Director of Administration, Communication and Frontline Ministry, she oversees digital communications and print media for online and in-person worship.

Preparing to Serve

• God will use people around us for a season to help equip us and direct our path
• Challenging life experiences can bear fruit
• Education/vocational experiences and skills can be used for ministry
• Passions and what God has equipped us to do
• Soul care, what condition is our heart in?
• Where has Christ met you?

Encouragement for Those Who Serve

• Keep serving
• Serve out of an understanding of what you are doing and why
• If God has brought you to a church then you are needed to serve there & your skills are needed
• Ask how you can serve and grow
